Robert Sestok

A Cass Corridor sculptor who turned empty Detroit lots into City Sculpture.

This artist's work is shown through the museum and artist links on this page while it remains under copyright or awaits a permission-cleared image.

Sestok moved to Detroit in 1967 and became part of the Cass Corridor scene. He works mainly in welded steel, including pieces made from materials like a 100-gallon propane tank.

His City Sculpture project set out to install about 30 works across four vacant lots, as a retrospective reaching back to 1980.
